Medication Review

Available in Alberta, British Columbia, Saskatchewan, New Brunswick, Nova Scotia, and Ontario, the Medication Review module allows you to conduct medication reviews at a pharmacy workstation or tablet. This ensures fast and easy execution, with minimal paperwork. This module was developed in partnership with a dedicated Group of your peers: Propel Rx users from across Canada who are committed to offering enhanced patient-focused services in their pharmacies.

Features of the Medication Review Module

  • Direct access from the Propel Rx navigation bar.

  • Eligibility prompts identify patients who are eligible for a medication review.

  • A patient list can be generated daily to find eligible patients.

  • Ability to prepare and save a medication review prior to meeting with the patient.

  • Automatic write-back from the review to the Patient Profile in Propel Rx.

  • Opportunities for pharmaceutical opinions can be triggered directly from the medication review (Ontario only).

  • Automatic creation of a prescription for billing in the Data Entry queue upon completion of a review.
